The process of affiliating to ABRATES is very simple. The translator should send the completed "Membership Proposal and Registration Card" and copies of documents to prove training in Translation or experience in the profession.

The "Membership Proposal and Registration Card" can be found in PDF format or Zip format.

To be able to read and print the card, you will need the Acrobat Reader program from Adobe.
If you do not yet have the program, click the button at the side to get a free download of the latest version of Acrobat Reader. After downloading, don't forget to install the program (this is a very common mistake).

It is important to note that the old Acrobat Reader programs for PDF files present problems when printing these documents. So, if you already have the program installed in your PC and are having difficulties in printing them, we suggest that you should try to download the latest version by clicking the button above and see if this solves the problem.

After correctly installing the Acrobat Reader program, click Registration Card at the bottom of this page.

When you click Registration Card, the form will be shown on your screen, as in the figure at the side.   To save the card on your computer, click as indicated in the figure below.

To print the card directly on your printer, click as indicated in the figure below.

After printing, fill in the form and send to:
